Ron and Diane St. Jean moved to Barrington, New Hampshire, in 1976, and have not considered living anywhere else. 


Ron operates a portrait, event, and fine art photography business in 1 Washington Center,  Dover, New Hampshire. He has been a full time professional photographer for more than twenty years, and has enjoyed creating photographs since he was in high school (long, long ago).

Ron is a member of the New Hampshire Professional Photographers Association, the New Hampshire Society of Photographic Artists, the New Hampshire Art Association, Art Esprit, and the Barrington Chamber of Commerce. He has participated in art and photography shows at the Currier Gallery of Art in Manchester, the Exeter Town Hall Gallery, the New Hampshire Institute of Art in Manchester, Artstream Gallery in Rochester, the Robert Lincoln Levy Gallery in Portsmouth, the Prescott Park Arts Festival in Portsmouth, Dartmouth - Hitchcock Hospital, the University of New Hampshire Art Gallery in Durham, the 100 Market Street Gallery in Portsmouth, the UNH Graduate Student Center in Manchester, Federal Savings Bank in Barrington, the Rochester Public Library, the Rollinsford Public Library, the Rochester Tax Office, the Berwick, Maine, Public Library, the Black Bean Cafe in Rollinsford, and the Barrington Public Library.


Ron's studio is located in the repurposed mill at 1 Washington Street in Dover. The interior and exterior of the mill, downtown Dover, and the Cocheco River provide a visually interesting and stimulating atmosphere for studio and environmental portraits. Ron is also co-owner of Barrington Editions, located in Rochester, New Hampshire, which serves the art community by providing museum quality archival digital reproductions of original artwork, as well as digital repair and restoration of damaged and faded photographs.
